配線用架台でありながら、カバーの役割も兼ねた筐体を製作しました。表面には、溶融亜鉛めっき処理が施されています。高温で溶かした亜鉛に筐体を浸して、表面に亜鉛皮膜を形成する処理のことです。鉄が錆びないようにするための表面処理です。

We manufactured an enclosure that functions both as a wiring support frame and as a protective cover. The surface has been treated with hot-dip galvanization — a process in which the enclosure is dipped into molten zinc to form a zinc coating on the surface. This treatment protects the steel from rusting.
