A friend of mine who works in the automotive industry in Inabu-cho, Toyota City—and is a big fan of bicycles—asked me if I could weld a broken wire on their bicycle basket. Since the wire diameter was quite thin, I had to be very careful with the welding to avoid melting the whole thing. I think it turned out nicely. They gave me some cookies as a thank-you gift. Much appreciated!
